PT Time QMAP - Memory Care

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Full Time QMAP (Qualified Medication Administration Personnel) to join our Memory Care team in Colorado Springs, United States. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care and support to residents with memory-related conditions such as Alzheimer's and dementia.

Administer medications to residents according to prescribed orders and facility protocolsMonitor residents for medication side effects and report any concerns to the nursing staffMaintain accurate and up-to-date medication administration recordsAssist with daily living activities, including personal care and groomingEngage residents in memory-enhancing activities and social interactionsCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive resident careRespond promptly to resident needs and emergency situationsMaintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residentsAdhere to all state regulations and facility policies regarding medication administration and resident care

QualificationsCurrent QMAP (Qualified Medication Administration Personnel) certificationHigh school diploma or equivalentCPR and First Aid certificationPrevious experience in memory care or assisted living facilities preferredStrong knowledge of medication administration techniques and safety protocolsUnderstanding of memory-related conditions and appropriate care techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain accurate records and attention to detailPhysical ability to assist residents with daily living activitiesCompassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in working with seniorsStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
