Damar’s ABA program begins with an evaluation that includes a full assessment of each child. Observation time, parent interviews, and the appropriate assessment tools are used to create an individualized treatment plan in order to meet the unique needs of your child with autism. The Clinical Psychologist will support both the Behavior Management and ABA departs of Damar. Through ABA, this person will complete diagnostic appointments, providing the family with a detailed diagnostic report. Through Behavior Management, this person will provide oversight and supervision of behavior plans, monthly reports and other documents requiring the supervision of an HSPP.

Provides oversight and supervision to Masters Level Clinicians in the delivery of clinical/therapeutic services to clients.Approves and reviews treatment plans, progress notes and monthly summaries - denoting approval and agreement by documentation and signature.Acts as a clinical consultant on cases as requested by clinicians or Clinical Director and/or the Director of Outpatient Services. Attends mandatory staff meeting and other meetings as assigned.Provides consultation and services to Damar Public Charter Academy in regards to student progress, testing procedures and outcomes. Acts as a good steward of Damar and/or client finances.Shows initiative by identifying solutions to work towards improving stakeholder satisfaction.Maintains documentation that is accurate and legible.Completes and updates mandatory training and other licensure related items in a timely manner.Ensures that appropriate documentation is present for clinical services reimbursed by Medicaid, 3rd Party Insurance and DCS.What you need to be considered...
Education: PsyD or PhD.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years completing diagnostic assessments.
Equipment Familiarity: Proficiency with MS Office applications including: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Certifications, Licenses or Special Training:
HSPP endorsement.Minimum age of 21 depending on program and / or department requirements.Must meet and maintain background screening requirements for all Damar Programs as detailed in policy 1.HR.02 Pre-Employment and Employee Background Checks. Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving).Essential Job Functions:
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
