PRS VP Risk Management Leader

The VP, Risk Management Leader is accountable for managing Chubb Personal Risk Services largest clients.  This includes providing underwriting and marketing expertise to assist in the development of new clients and to ensure retention and engagement of existing clients. 

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

1. Leadership

Accountable for coordinating the table set process for assigned $500k clients which should lead to successful acquisition of new clients and proactive renewal strategies for existing clients Provide underwriting support for all large clients through underwriting referrals Development of overall business strategy for these clients including alignment of product, pricing, and marketing, Proficiency in managing broker relationships and an ability to modify our business strategy to adjust to the experience and expertise of the producer team. Monitor market and competitive environment and communicate effectively to ensure proper engagement at all levels of management Coordinate response across product lines (admitted and non-admitted) as well as engage expertise where needed (underwriting specialists, risk consultants) Assist in underwriting development of Premier and Portfolio Underwriters specific to the management of complex client exposures.  

2. Underwriting 

Work within the PRS authority framework Advocate for clients to ensure alignment of product and pricing to meet client expectations Ensure engagement is managed from all key constituents (Regional Team and Underwriting leadership) Support an underwriting mindset that differentiates behavior and ensures that we are providing market leading expertise in managing our largest clients Create clear and concise underwriting referrals for authority requests to senior PRS leaders.  

3. Marketing

Develop communication plans that effectively position Chubb’s market leadership Effectively authorize, explain and position underwriting requirements and recommendations Effectively position CB difference’s in delivering product and service Deepen engagement with agents/clients  Represent PRS in approved external speaker and panel discussions relating to market leadership. Work with marketing and center of influence practice to ensure that events and sponsorships help further our underwriting and marketing strategy.
