Overview

The Provider Enrollment Specialist will assist the Company's Legal Department by enrolling and tracking Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer provider applications as well as re-validations and re-credentialing applications. In addition, the Provider Enrollment Specialist may be asked to work with the Licensing Department to complete facility licensure applications.

Responsibilities Works with people across multiple disciplines to obtain information needed to compile, submit, complete accurate provider applications and renewalsCoordinates and maintains a tracking database for provider contracts, re-validation, re-credentialing, and enrollment applications as well as correspondenceSupports company Business Development Team in connection with corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitionsInteracts externally with various federal and state agencies, government payers, and managed care organizationsAdheres to company and governmental guidelines with respect to confidential and protected health informationWork Accounts Receivable department and/or operations to resolve billing issuesPerforms other duties as assigned Qualifications General Education Diploma or High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree preferredProficient in Word, Excel, and PDF ConverterPrior experience in the health care or managed care industry is desirableAbility to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize multiple assignmentsDetail oriented with strong organizational skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsGood interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully communicate with people from all levels within the organization as well as with external parties, including government contactsFamiliarity with government regulations and legal researchKnowledge of the Medicaid and Medicare programsA desire to work collaboratively in a small, dedicated Legal DepartmentAbility to work independently and with highly confidential informationConsistent demonstration of accuracy, thoroughness and timeliness in completing assignments About our Line of Business BrightSpring Health Services provides complementary and integrated home- and community-based pharmacy and health solutions for complex populations in need of specialized and/or chronic care.
