Job Description:
Implements best practices in proposal leadership and content development; supports management in instilling best practices in junior team members; continues working toward certification
Reviews RFPs, Statements of Work, and specifications; understands key terms and acronyms; understands how to identify design deliverable stages; develops compliance and project relevancy matrices for complex pursuits; follows RFP instructions for compliance and submission and
Leads kickoff calls and color team reviews; demonstrates in-depth understanding of RFP
Readily identifies long lead items within a complex proposal and prioritizes them Leads content development for external and internal data calls; drafts inputs for customized qualifications packages for executive team; coordinates technical inputs with design staff and responsible for follow-up; ensures design staff is properly briefed as to standards and expectations
Leads and tracks subconsultant inputs
Capable of interfacing directly and professionally with clients with minimal management oversight
Leads interview preparation sessions, including dissemination of assignments and external coordination
Drives content; exhibits understanding of requirements
Researches and provides extensive inputs for social media and website content for review; understands correlation between the two media; tone is accurate, grammatically impeccable, and on-brand; receives minimal edits and feedback
Follows template and regularly provides creative enhancements contextual to brand; able to create simple infographics and enhance existing ones
Attends industry events and conferences; behaves professionally; demonstrates ability to discuss firm and industry in an educated manner
Independently performs submission close-out for project, personnel, and subconsultant information as well as more complex technical inputs; maintains file structure by ensuring outdated information is archived
Develops content that demonstrates high-level understanding of firm differentiators
Regularly engages with technical team members, including sr. leadership; asks thoughtful and proactive questions; demonstrates interest in and engagement on projects; actively engages with the firm through committees and office management support
Exhibits clear understanding of the industry; follows industry-related news and sites; identifies industry events and webinars of interest

Linkedin & Instagram - Proficient
GovWin, Sam.gov; & ProjNet -- Demonstrates understanding of full breadth of resources across all sites; tracks specific pursuits
Delegation of tasks and responsibilities - Understands direction and leads by example
Accountability - Meets all defined deadlines; demonstrates flexibility in responding to quick-turnaround requests; regularly manages multiple deadlines
Strategic recommendations - Provides initial suggestions as to projects, personnel, and content for submissions
Quality control - Follows the established guidelines for written and visual content, with minor corrections
Client focus - Is mindful of assigned deliverables; proactively identifies items within the department to complete; does not require manager and director C for most deliverables; able to liaise directly with executive team
Leadership - Receptive to feedback, course-corrects, and takes accountability for errors; requires some oversight
