Great Place to Work® Most Loved Workplace® Forbes Best-in-State Employer Proposal Specialist (Remote) This position manages the request for proposal (RFP) response process for all assigned opportunities. This role works in a team environment, managing, writing, editing and proofreading responses to multi-product RFPs. The team works within established and inflexible periods to meet proposal deadlines. Team members are required to independently manage and complete proposals, ensuring that responses are customer-centric, complete and compliant. **PRIMARY PURPOSE** **:** To develop and respond to requests for information and proposals (RFIs and RFPs); to collaborate with various subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure the RFPs are completed timely and accurately; and to provide oversight of quality and cohesiveness of response. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES** + Provides initial draft of each request to various subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed and incorporates any needed edits or updates to the response. + Ensures the initial draft is compliant, responsive, and specifically tailored to each client’s needs. + Works collaboratively with the SMEs to ensure new requirements are identified and documented. + Facilitates internal flow and review of all RFP inputs and directs production of final master RFP. + Determines and maintains the timeline for each response to ensure that deadlines are met. + Ensures security and integrity of all RFP documentation. + Reviews and responds to requests within the business development group. + Takes on additional assignments, such as RFP follow-up requests, proposal library update projects and other ad hoc assignments. + Helps develop and maintain RFP best practices. **ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES** + Performs other duties as assigned. + Supports the organization’s quality program(s). **Education & Licensing** Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. **Experience** Four (4) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include one (1) year of project management experience and one (1) year of proofing/editing experience.
