**Summary**
The Proposal Design and Collateral Specialist is responsible for overseeing the creation and quality control for client proposals, from design layout to asset and collateral management. This role ensures that proposals effectively communicate the value of the business through both visual and textual elements, while maintaining compliance and consistency. They will also be responsible for the creation of internal presentations and collateral that support our sales organization and new business initiatives.
They work in collaboration with the Enterprise Proposal Team to verify that client expectations and RFP requirements are met, while also ensuring that all deliverables adhere to Freeman’s brand standards and operational excellence. This includes the planning, collaboration and execution of proposals, design assets and content for internal and customer-facing deliverables. The Proposal Design and Collateral Specialist must be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a highly organized and detailed manner, working across all internal departments with various SMEs and senior leaders.
This position will support our Growth team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be located in Dallas, TX.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Graphic Design: Create graphics, illustrations and templates that complement the proposal narrative, customer objectives, and/or internal Freeman initiatives
+ Proposal Development & Layout: Oversee the development of team deliverables, providing design layout support and guidance to ensure quality of all customer proposals as well as internal Freeman assets and collateral
+ Asset Management: Create, organize, and store assets such as templates, images, and internal files that supports proposals and new business objectives
+ Collaboration: Work with designated stakeholders to design and develop miscellaneous collateral, including factsheets, presentations, brochures, sales aids and battle cards to drive new business initiatives that support our customers and internal Freeman teams
+ Quality Assurance: Check proposals for consistency and ensure RFP compliance to maintain high brand standards and quality of all deliverables
+ Work with Proposal Team and key stakeholders to determine project goals and requirements
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback for continual improvements to client proposals, internal assets and collateral
+ Ensure key messaging for proposals is centered around the customer experience and is easily understood by internal Freeman stakeholders and external audiences
+ Partner with Marketing to ensure all templates and collateral aligns with Freeman brand, both aesthetically as well as messaging tone
+ Responsible for researching and staying ahead of presentation trends and tools to deliver best-in-class proposals and new business assets or collateral
+ Manage multiple, complex tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines with limited supervision
+ Able to problem solve in an efficient and professional manner, working across all internal departments with SMEs and senior leaders
+ Meets and communicates with stakeholders regularly to provide project status updates and identifies risks and manages emerging issues.
+ Perform all other duties as assigned.
**Education & Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or related field.
+ 3-5 years of experience in a creative agency, corporate marketing environment or design firm in applicable areas of business development, strategic planning and operations.
+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively conceptualize and collaborate with all teams and levels within the organization.
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
+ Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Ability to problem solve and influence without authority to drive projects to completion.
+ Experience in layout/print production preferable.
