You will be the Financial Mgmt/Proposal Analyst, responsible for providing accurate, compliant, and timely proposals to support business growth and success in Archbald, PA. Our team is responsible for delivering exceptional proposal development and estimating services to drive business outcomes.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Financial Mgmt/Proposal Analyst, you will be responsible for compiling and analyzing proposal data, including labor and material costs, schedules, and technical elements.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Compiling all labor and material cost, schedule, and technical element inputs from multiple functional departments to support proposal estimating
• Analyzing historical performance, developing cost models, and incorporating vendor quotations for material to support proposal development
• Verifying and validating data in accordance with estimating policy, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) requirements
• Participating in management reviews, customer negotiations, and price audits to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Contracts, and Engineering, to support proposal demands and drive business outcomes
• Identifying and initiating process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency within estimating functions
• Providing day-to-day direction and guidance to less senior Proposal Analysts to support their development and growth

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree
• Three years of related professional experience
• Experience working effectively as an individual contributor and as part of a team
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel
• Ability to obtain security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Proven effective analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Working knowledge of LMMFC software and tools including: material estimating software (ie P2P MCE), Manufacturing Resource Planning (ie SAP), financial software (ie EFS)
• Experience with Request for Proposals (RFP), FAR, DOD environment
• Master’s Degree in related field

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
