Are you an expert in Property Portfolio Management? We are looking for a results driven Property Portfolio Manager to provide expert advice in managing an existing portfolio and negotiating the acquisition, disposal or leasing of property to support Downer Group’s businesses needs and to collaborate across Downer businesses to optimise the Group property footprint. This position is a 6 Month Max-Term position with the possibility of extension.
This role can be based in our Milton, Brisbane or Collins Street Melbourne office reporting to the Group Manager – The Property Portfolio Manager will be responsible for providing expert advice in the management of leased and owned commercial and industrial property and verification of rental, outgoings and critical dates to support Downer businesses needs and to collaborate across Downer businesses to optimise the Group property footprint.

Tertiary qualification in Property Management, Property Economics or Law A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Property Portfolio Management Advanced Experience managing a national property portfolio of more than 100 leases and freehold properties with an emphasis on Commercial and Industrial asset classes.Demonstrated experience at a senior level in undertaking Accommodation Needs Analysis, detailed due diligence and feasibility analysis to identify options/delivery models for a geographically disperse portfolio to satisfy corporate property requirements.Demonstrated experience in the development of portfolio and site specific Asset Management Plans to guide investment.Demonstrated knowledge and applicational property legal compliance requirements.Why you will love working with us
