Property Litigation Solicitor/Associate 2+ PQE - Leeds A reputable national firm is looking for an ambitious Solicitor or Associate to join their high-performing team, based in their Leeds office. This is an award-winning national team that continues to move from strength to strength which presents an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the further growth and success of a leading practice. THE OPPORTUNITY Following years of authentic growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor or Associate to join the highly regarded Property Litigation team at a highly regarded national firm. With strong recognition across all major legal directories, the team has an excellent reputation as well as an established client base comprising both public and private sector clients. The role will involve advising public and private sector clients on a broad mix of property related disputes including landlord and tenant and land and development matters as well as providing advisory support for transactional colleagues. You will work closely with Partners and the wider national team across the following matters: · Commercial tenancy disputes relating to breach of covenants, service charge, forfeiture, dilapidations and rent reviews. · Land-based disputes in respect of restrictive covenants, easements, trespass and claims for possession. · Business tenancy renewals. · Proceedings in the High Court, County Court and First-Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber). · Advising on the Building Safety Act, telecoms, and/or leasehold management work. ABOUT YOU You will be a Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE. The following skills are also considered essential to the role: · Eagerness to work collaboratively with colleagues nationally. · Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with colleagues and clients. · Demonstrable experience of working efficiently to meet deadlines and exceptional project management skills. · A commitment to delivering a high service and continuous development. · A genuine interest and willing to participate in business development. · A commercial and practical approach to working.
