Job Summary

As an experienced designer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing projects according to customer requirements, supervising and coordinating design projects while ensuring quality, cost, and deadlines, ensuring the compliance of necessary elements, participating in the continuous improvement of processes, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure the coherence and feasibility of projects.

Responsibilities

Manage projects autonomously, ensuring good communication with various stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Handle contingencies and changes occurring during the project lifecycle rigorously and efficiently. Capture all requests from various internal and external stakeholders to prioritize them effectively. Analyze client needs and translate requirements into detailed technical specifications. Ensure continuous improvement of our products by seeking innovative and economical solutions. Perform sizing and performance calculations to ensure system efficiency. Maintain plans, bill of materials, and technical documentation issued by the Design Office. Provide technical support to other departments. Participate in writing technical product documentation.

 

Basic Qualifications

Mastery of functional dimensioning and associated ISO GPS standards. Proficiency in CAD software such as CREO, SOLIDWORKS. Proficiency in MS EXCEL. Project management. Training and mentoring staff. Technical formalization. Leading small teams. Teamwork. Rigor. Listening skills. Analytical mindset. Problem-solving. Autonomy. Critical thinking. Fluent in French. English: read – written – spoken. Required experience: minimum 2 years for an engineer / minimum 5 years in the position of designer.
