Job Description

AECOM Mississauga is hiring a Projects Administrator to provide general project management and operations assistance to the Transportation business lines.

This is a full-time role expected to begin as soon as possible.

 

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

Handling and coordinating day-to-day tasks for Project Managers and others on the project delivery teamAssist Project Managers with monthly workload and financial projectionsAssist Project Managers with project controls including project tracking, financial analysis and project billing/invoicingAssist Project Managers in completing the Estimate at Completion (EAC’s) for all the projectsIdentify Margin erosions on the projects and working with the project delivery team to address the concerns and resolve issuesResolve any issues related to invoices with the Client and address their commentsCoordinate with internal project delivery team and billing department for address invoices comments from the ClientsManaging appointments, meetings, and conferencesPreparing presentations, reports, proposals and correspondenceManaging filing systemsLiaising with clients for outstanding account receivables and invoicesOrganize project-wide, corporate and internal meetings and eventsActing as a point of contact for phone calls and correspondence

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Highschool + 4 years experience in project administration OR Technical Diploma + 2 years relevant experience  OR Bachelor Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills – multitasking and ability to effectively coordinate tasks. Developed planning skills.Diplomacy – working with multiple senior level employees across multiple organizationsAdaptabilityProficiency and flexibility with different software systemsDiscretion – as this person will be working with highly confidential matters.Ability to understand financial concepts.Technical education and understanding is idealProficient in the MS suite: MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
