HOW A PROJECT/TASK MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projectsTakes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client servicesDefines project scope and objectives; Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reportsConducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysisEnsures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverablesManages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverablesProvides technical and analytical guidance to project teamRecommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of related experience, or Associate's Degree with 8 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experiencePreferred Skillset/Experience:Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in network troubleshooting and supportComprehensive knowledge of routers, switches, patch panels, concentrators, associated terminals, and related network hardware and softwareComprehensive knowledge of desktop operating systems and applicationsClearance Level: TS/SCIRequired Certification(s):DoD 8140/8570 Level II Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contractIAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalentComputing Environment certification: PMP certification​Location: On Customer SiteUS Citizenship: RequiredAdditional:Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contractPosition may require lifting of objects (i.e. IT Hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling (i.e. plug in cables) and other moderately strenuous activityTravel may be required to support the mission
