Job SummaryUnder the leadership of the CHNA Manager, the project specialist will be responsible for supporting the coordination and implementation of the Corewell Health East community health needs assessment (CHNA) across 8-hospitals. This includes support for the CHNA Steering Committee, Community Advisory Boards, Communications, and other working groups associated with the community health needs assessment.
Essential FunctionsSupport the CHNA Manager and Corewell Health East leadership to leverage resources across multi-sector stakeholders to achieve the data collection and implementation plan goals and objectives.Plans, implements and maintains data collection and analysis systems in support of the CHNA process. Coordinates, reviews, and monitors priority service areas as it relates to community health status.Provide support for the day-to-day coordination and implementation of planned CHNA data collection activities, including survey outreach and focus groups.Engage, build, collaborate, and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote awareness regarding CHNA data collection and implementation plans.Compiles data to support reports and presentations as needed.Helps to monitor and track project deliverables.Acts as a liaison and resource for multi-disciplinary team members.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired
Bachelor’s degree in health care administration or related fieldPreferred
Master’s degree1 year of relevant experience 1 year of experience in a similar role. RequiredPreferred
