Project Site Lead

Insight Global is looking for a Project Site Lead to oversee scheduling and equipment readiness for an OEM. The purpose of this position is to provide Press & Automation Equipment Execution Support to the Stamping Enterprise. You will be the day to day activity lead for project execution, coordinate compliance to SOR, manage floor schedule, manage 3 week look ahead, and manager 7 day scheduling board. You will coordinate contractor, supplier/OEM, and GM SME activities simultaneously, manage open issues list resolution, as well as coordinate on-site project activates pre-project through SORP and project closeout. Provide support to Plant Operations and the Project Lead. Additional day to day responsibilities for the Project Site Lead includes:
* Interacting with the plant production team and ensure timelines are being met
* Troubleshoot and Update equipment without effecting production
* Schedule & plan each week to ensure project is on time and in coordination with the installation team's schedule and project deadlines
* Track inventory and materials
* Update tracking logs within excel and MS Projects
* Kickoff each shift with shift start meeting
* Work with Superintendents from each contractor on daily schedule, issues that arise, etc.
* Assure single plan for daily activity, responding to changing site conditions to ensure communication to one plan to maintain project schedule.
* Engage in commercial discussions with vendors, contractor, suppliers, etc. escalating to Project Lead where appropriate. Ensure capture appropriate documentation supporting cause for extra cost.
* Support verification that entire system throughput and uptime targets are obtained.
* Ensure intended product allocations and key characteristics of product and tooling designs are integrated into the 3 Week Plan
* Engage in Contractor Field Order tracker meeting, supporting local GM Install team with technical details and evidence of work completion.
* Coordinate Shipping and Receiving to/from the Project Site
* Interface with local safety team and Project FSR.
* Act as Project Liason between Project Team and Local Plant Operations.
* Update/support Project Lead in creation and presentation of monthly All Project Report Out.
* Order and keep track of inbound material.
Compensation:
$30-50/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
