We are looking for a Project Scheduler who will interface directly with the program team to update milestone deliverable tracking, MS Project percent complete and assist in earned value management reporting. Responsibilities + Decompose the project scope into deliverable work packages (WBS) + Update and maintain a project delivery schedule + Interface with the program and procurement teams + Develop a fabrication schedule status by working directly with the fabrication team + Provide industry scheduling best practices + Define and communicate critical path + Interface with the customer's scheduler; interface with engineering and manufacturing departments + Assist with resource planning and balancing Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business or a related field + 8 years of directly related experience as a project scheduler or equivalent combination of education and experience + Proficient user of MS Project + Ability to collect and research data; use intuition and experience to complement data + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to gather and analyze information skillfully + Excellent communication skills and ability to convey changes and progress + Commitment to continuous learning and development + Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in various situations; listen and get clarification; respond well to questions + Strong writing skills with the ability to present numerical data effectively + Respectful and ethical with a strong sense of integrity and organizational values + Ability to follow policies and procedures and support the organization's goals and values Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in engineering, defense, manufacturing, planning, and documentation Work Environment Our client has two facilities - one in Hunt Valley, MD and one in Sparks, MD. This particular group in Hunt Valley is responsible for building Fuel Cells & Hydrogen Generation equipment, essentially splitting water (H2O) to extract Hydrogen, for government customers, steel manufacturing/power plants, space (NASA), and underwater vehicles. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
