Project Sales Leader

We are looking for an action and support-oriented Project Sales Leader for our Iberia Strategic Sales team, that will be responsible for all valves sales activities for projects to achieve or exceed the agreed Sales, Bookings, Gross Profit and strategic targets valves product lines and services in projects.

As an expert dealing with projects valves sales into strategic sales group, the job holder will be the main point of contact with the assigned customers, providing pre- and post-sales support, drive the account strategy, build relationships with the customer counterparts, track and understand customer needs and align Emerson’s offerings to address them, in collaboration with subject matter experts and industry leaders.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Identify the market requirements and specifics, develop and execute strategies and tactics for growth of orders and profitability within customers in agreed sales responsibility. Qualify and pursuit valves project opportunities, with early and coordinated engagement. Actively promote and sell products, solutions and services in EPCs and accounts of responsibility. Lead projects according to strategic initiatives and fundamentals. Oversee, ensure and support the execution of committed contractual terms to customers in all business transactions. Continuously drive the improvement of customer satisfaction by understanding, communicating and executing solutions to their needs. Stay on top of market trends and competition strategies.

For This Role, You Will Need:

STEM degree or comparable technical education. Demonstrated experience selling valves to customers in relevant industries. Good technical knowledge in control and isolation valves. Proactivity and excellent negotiation skills. Comfortable with change and able to succeed in contexts of uncertainty. Excellent communication and presentation skills both in English and Spanish languages.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

Interest in new technology and an open mind for innovation. Experience working in a matrix organization.
