The technologies have been tested across multiple and diverse flue gases from industrial processes, to ensure reliability and efficiency in a wide range of industry segments. Today, we lead many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. The SLB-Capturi US team is seeking a highly qualified QA/QC Lead. In this exciting role, you will integrate quality / governance requirements in the project Execution phase / functions, ensure timely preparation of quality deliverables and enforcing compliance of the Project Quality Plan and specified requirements during execution. You will also support the project execution team to deliver within quality, cost and schedule. **Roles and Responsibilities:** **Functional Management:** + Management responsibilities of the project quality. + Identify / allocate QA/QC resources, processes, and guidelines for the construction phase of the project. + Guide QA/QC engineers and Coordinator(s) to support in reviewing project specific documentation, performing inspections and reporting on supplier activities as per agreed inspection and test plans. + Assign internal / client submission / supplier documents for review and inspections based on project requirements and competency requirements. + Present the weekly / monthly quality report to project management / PMO or management team / client. **Quality-Procurement interfacing:** + Work with the project supply manager / project supply lead to identify and formalize third party inspection agency for the project. + Participate / assign review of Technical Requisitions (TR) and Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) to ensure quality requirements are identified on supplier RFQ’s / tender. **Contract:** + Prepare / update the Contract specific Project Quality Plan with references to quality documents submitted during tender. + Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan according to client’s requirements **Supplier Quality Management:** + Plan / Assign for inspection Kick of Meeting (KOM) and ensure Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIM) are conducted as per schedule. **Validation / Approval:** + Ensure collection, checking and management of supplier documents certifying tests, controls and inspections carried out witnessing the tests, controls and inspections carried out. + Verify special processes and the relevant workers’ qualifications. + Check the documents certifying the tests, controls and inspections carried out. **Auditing:** + Responsible for the independent surveillance and audit of the project for compliance with the procedures and specific QA/requirements, as well as the documentation of compliance and corrective actions. + Check the conformity with the Quality Control Plan and obtain the relevant documentation + Monitor Project and Internal Non-Conformances and ensure appropriate documentation on QUEST / InTouch (Web-based reporting) + Plan and execute project quality audits (internal and with suppliers / contractors) + Provide inputs to OPF Quality Management Reviews through NCR/SQ / Lessons Learnt / project quality audits results etc. **Qualifications and Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, or related field. + Minimum of 10 years’ experience in QA/QC lead role in an EPC/EPCM capital projects environment, preferably in projects related to chemical process plants / gas plants. + Previous experience supporting leading the QA/QC discipline in EPC projects through all phases of an EPC project from tender construction and commissioning etc. + Deep understanding and expertise / Interpretation of ASME Sec VIII, Sec IX, Sec V, AWS D1.1 and all other relevant quality/ regulatory standards. + ASNT SNTC Level II certification. + Previous experience with ISO 9001 auditing. + Ability to work in a cross functional team and coordinate quality activities among multiple stakeholders. + Attention to details and critical analysis. + Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. + A self-starter that demonstrates a positive outlook and contributes to working in multicultural and multidisciplinary and collaborative environment. + Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship. .
