Project/Program Manager (AFNWC/NDS Test and Integration)
KBR is seeking a Project/Program Manager to join our team in Albuquerque, NM supporting the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center. An active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide team leadership in the test program that provides opportunities to conduct an end-to-end, stockpile-to-target sequence to assess the entire operational envelope of the weapon delivery system, fire control, and nuclear warhead.
+ Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support for AFNWC/NDS test and integration activities. Test and integration activities entail planning and coordination events, test execution, and post-test data processing and validation of joint test events.
+ Provide additional test and integration program tasks support to aid in the management of the ancillary equipment requirements, ensuing production and collaboration with the weapon storage facility program for warhead and ancillary equipment considerations are documented and addressed.
+ Demonstrate proficiency in fighter (USAF and non-US NATO) and bomber aircraft systems and the interoperability and integration of System 1 and System 2 communication protocols with nuclear weapon systems.
+ Support assessment and evaluation of integration efforts and data by various aircraft platforms for potential impacts of issues that may affect the interoperability of the weapon and delivery systems, and for compliance with interface requirements and nuclear certification criteria for the air delivered nuclear weapons programs.
+ Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of program cost, schedule, and performance for the Weapon Systems Integration and Test Branch within the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC), Nuclear Weapon Systems Integration Division (NDS) which is responsible for providing continuous support that maintains warfighter capability in the employment of air delivered (gravity and cruise missile) nuclear weapon systems.
+ Provide expertise in project governance and stakeholder communication.
+ Provide support the government team in the development, implementation, and control of all contractual and financial aspects of Division programs, to include planning management, acquisition strategy, and budget execution.
+ Support development of strategic planning documentation detailing senior leader direction, policy, and direction for Division programs.
+ Support the establishment of resource needs such as personnel, facilities, and budgets to facilitate program execution.
+ Manage the cost, schedule, and performance of Branch programs.
+ Support DoDI 5000.02, DoDM 5030.55/AFI 63-103 and DOE Phase 6.X acquisition process and AFI 63-125 Nuclear Certification processes.
+ Provide expertise in qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition.
+ Plan, research, analyze and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment to formulate plans and make strategy recommendations to meet cost, schedule, and performance.
+ Use multi-attribute tradespace exploration philosophies and workflows to ensure digital material management and multi-criteria decision making are implemented throughout the portfolio of programs, projects, and initiatives.
+ Support the Branch Chief and technical support teams to meet Branch tasks.
+ Support AFNWC/NDS management of all current and future air-delivered gravity bomb and warhead families (B83, B61and W80) and associated test variants and support equipment.
Qualifications:
Required:
+ Active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position.
+ Bachelor’s degree is required; science, engineering, or management is preferred.
+ Understanding of the Nuclear Weapons Life Cycle and the Phase 6.x process for refurbishment activities of existing nuclear weapons systems (B61, B83, W80 integration into the Long Range Standoff Missile).
+ 5 - 10 years of project management experience supporting National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), DOE, AF Global Strike Command, or related organization.
+ Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Superior collaboration and organizational skills.
+ Proactive and highly motivated.
+ Able to work in a secure, confined location
+ Some travel to support customer mission and goals may be required
Desired:
+ Advanced STEM degree is preferred.
+ Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) certification preferred.

Basic Compensation:
$150-$170k
This range is for New Mexico only.
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
