Position: Project Manager Job Location: Bohemia, NY Expire Date: Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic, engaged engineer who can complement our existing practices and capabilities to support our wastewater division. Candidates will have a degree/advanced degree in civil engineering with 5 to 7 years of experience. You will independently manage all aspects of multiple or large projects from a technical/administrative aspect and assist the environmental and environmental compliance groups with their engineering needs.Train and mentor junior technical staff. Job Responsibilities: + Manage and serve as the Project Manager on wastewater projects + Be responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring for projects being managed + Coordinate Quality Assurance/Quality Control of key deliverables and assisting on projects managed by others + Assist Market Leaders with client development, opportunity research and proposal development + Participate in professional societies relevant to the market. + Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key decision makers in our clients organizations + Some travel to other offices may be required Qualifications: Education: + Bachelor's Degree in civil/environmental engineering or related degree. + Professional engineering (PE) license, strongly preferred. Experience: + 5+ years of related experience + Experience working on and managing wastewater projects. + Experience managing multi-discipline project teams. + Excellent communication, networking and team building skills. + Experience working directly with clients KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Effective technical writing skills. MS Office, AutoCad, and Civil 3D. Strong ability to effectively communicate technical information to all types of people, both verbally and in writing; multitask and coordinate confusing and often conflicting priorities; strong communication, decision-making, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
