Project Manager Valet/Parking Services
**Overview** The Project Manager of Parking/Valet Services is Responsible for overseeing all Valet Operations for UHAT, including but not limited to staffing, managing drive operations, customer satisfaction, payroll and training. Provide professional, courteous and compassionate guest services for patients, visitors, and guests while meeting the standards outlined by UHAT. Proactively approach, greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service. Must be a great communicator and leader to successfully manage staff and responsibilities at multiple drive locations. Responsible for all other duties assigned. **Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00/yr DOE** The pay listed is the salary range for this position. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested. **Primary Duties:** + Ensure each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes training staff to proactively greet and thank each guest. + Manage and coordinate all activities related to valet operations. + Monitor staff performance, guest satisfaction and increase operational efficiency, then provide recommendations to UHAT leadership. + Administer Corporate Service Standards and UHAT Service Expectations (CQI, Creed, etc.). + Create, maintain and train all policies, standard operating procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety and environmental and infection control. + Recruit and hire qualified applicants for each position; ensuring adequate staff to meet operational requirements. + Ensure on-going training, promotions, performance reviews, driving evaluations, employment termination, and disciplinary measures are administered according to policy and procedure. + Ensure weekly UHAT Foundation of Excellence trainings are given to all supervisors and staff. + Ensure standard operating procedures are trained on during weekly meeting with supervisors and staff. + Ensure quality assurance and staff visibility at all times to maintain high standards of quality, reliability, customer service and safety. + Identify opportunities for supervisors to motivate their team members to provide exceptional service to every single guest, every single time. + Ensure drives are maintaining the UHAT standard for cleanliness and positive first impressions. + Keep work area clean of debris. + Ensure established dress code and hygiene guidelines, including being properly identified, are consistently applied and followed by all staff. + Act as liaison with client and hospital administration for communication of and preparation for peak and off-peak traffic flow (i.e. Holidays or excessive appointment days). + Prepare schedules and compile payroll data + Ensure labor and expenses are managed within budgetary guidelines. + Conduct lot inspections and suggest functional improvements. + Monitor traffic patterns and valet activity to prevent injuries and guest claims. + Promptly investigate claims, providing support whether denied or approved. + Investigate guest complaints and communicate resolution with UHAT leadership. + Provide 3rd Tier Service Recovery for on-site guest complaints, following supervisors and Valet Coordinator. + Ensure timely ordering and replacement of supplies, signage, and uniforms, as necessary. + Perform all valet-related tasks, as needed. **Essential Knowledge and Skills:** + Able to act independently and make accurate decisions with exceptional focus on attention to detail. + High degree of ability controlling flows of traffic and valet lanes. + High degree of attention required preventing injury to others and damaging to vehicles when operating vehicles to and from location. + Ability to demonstrate exceptional service and interpersonal skills that are interpreted as positive and customer service oriented. + Understand and respond appropriately to basic customer and employee inquiries. + Ability to analyze and solve problems, + Must maintain confidentiality of patients, visitors, staff and guests. + Ability to operate equipment in assigned area. **Qualifications:** + Proven ability to manage, train and develop a team of more than 25 people. + Preferred experience in valet management. + Preferred experience in customer service industry. + Proven experience building and maintaining professional working relationships. + Proven background managing multi-task operations + Ability to implement policies and procedures. + Experience preparing and/or maintaining a budget. + Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills. + Ability to work in an environment that is not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes with exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy weather conditions for long periods of time. + Must be able to meet health requirements such as TB test, Hepatitis screen, Rubella, etc. + Must be able to lift, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation, and exhibit full range of motion including standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing and crouching. + Ability to stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift. + Education minimum: high school diploma or equivalent + Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions. + Applicants may be rejected if an interview or background check reveals that the applicant has been convicted of a felony or offense against property such as receipt of stolen property, larceny, embezzlement, burglary or similar convictions. + Must pass a pre-employment drug test. + Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States. + Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with a MVR criteria meeting company guidelines, if required. + Ability to operate a standard and automatic transmission, if required.
