Project Manager - Shaw Sports Turf

Position Overview

This position reports to the Shaw Sports Turf Sr. Project Manager for the respective area of the country assigned.  The position will work within the Operations Function of the Shaw Sports Turf Team and will have direct interface with customers.  The focus of this position will be to manage a wide variety of Shaw Sport Turf Field Projects from Bidding/Estimating through the Warranty/Maintenance period. 

Responsibilities:  

This position will focus on driving project success through: 

Generating accurate estimates and bids 

Seeking clarification from the customer to understand requirements 

Managing projects to ensure that they complete on time and under budget 

Using project lifecycle knowledge to continuously improve bid performance 

Managing project priorities in a highly demanding environment 

Driving project execution to maximize profit and minimize margin erosion 

Executing assigned projects within customer expectations 

Coordinating the contracting of sub-contractors 

Direct the activities of both internal and subcontracted installation crews 

Management of multiple projects simultaneously 

Ensuring customer satisfaction at time of completion 

Clear communication with all other critical components of the supply chain (including but not limited to customers, manufacturing, sales/marketing, distribution, transportation, outside fabrication etc.) 

Ensuring the prompt completion and final closeout of each project 

Management of all warranty or maintenance needs 

Manage the operational execution of projects totaling $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 of annual sales 

Completion of other duties as assigned by manager 

Requirements:  

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience 

3 + Years of Project Management Experience 

Must be able to travel

 

Preferred: 

Project Management experience in a construction environment 

CAD Capability 

Project Estimating experience 

Construction Management Degree

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
