Project Manager - Rolling Stock

We’re looking for a meticulous Project Manager to join our Rolling Stock business! As part of the London Piccadilly Upgrade Programme, you will oversee the delivery of sub-projects with precision and excellence. Based primarily in London, you will collaborate closely with our team and clients to ensure seamless project execution. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving transformative changes within this sustainable, long-term programme, ultimately benefiting millions of tube passengers.

The successful candidate may be based in London with flexibility to travel to Goole Rail Village for workshops and meetings. The role also involves occasional travel to Vienna and Germany.

You’ll make an impact by

Taking ownership of deliverables relating to time, cost and quality to ensure the safe delivery of projects Aligning closely with wider teams, including the sales teams to offer expertise Expertly creating concise proposals to support the business strategy Fostering effective communication among stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and any deviations from the plan Managing project risks and issues, implementing proactive strategies to mitigate potential obstacles and maintain momentum Continuously evaluating project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing lessons learned to enhance future rolling stock projects Delivering technical workstreams and manage changes

Your success will be grounded by

Your proven experience managing projects (Rolling Stock maintenance background preferred) Strong leadership and stakeholder management at all levels A detail focused approach to your work, to ensure projects are successfully delivered Strong technical skills, to deliver complex workstreams IMPA Level D/ APM PMQ or equivalent (preferable) Expert knowledge of delivering high standards of work using Primavera/MS Project/MS Office Being a team member who takes accountability for your role, and supports and credits others for theirs
