ABOUT THE ROLE
The Project Manager Marketing Europe will be responsible for the execution of all trade and consumer marketing activities in Europe with a special focus on the DACH region. This role reports to the Director Marketing UK / EMEA and is part of a Global Marketing organization with a global to local strategic approach. Many marketing activities will be following the guidance and strategy from the Global Marketing team, whereas other activities are 100% local based on local needs. The Project Manager Marketing Europe will be responsible for the project management and development of wide-ranging cross-channel marketing communications and communication materials including email marketing, direct mail, flyers and brochures targeting various Silversea segments B2B and B2C. In addition, the person in this role will be responsible for managing the local trade marketing activities including developing B2B trade advertising campaigns, maintain content and training platforms, support trade and consumer events / shows and support the Sales Organization with marketing requests, among other things.
Key Responsibilities
Plan the trade media with given budget for 7 key countries in Europe, monitor performance and adjust plan accordingly Coordinate artworks with our internal design team for trade / consumer media including print ads, advertorials, stand-alone newsletters, 3rd party html and banner advertising Support all B2B2C requests through the creation of co-branded marketing assets, content and imagery in line with brand positioning Coordinate all market related Trade E-Mail activities Follow up on the global e-Mail schedule. Align with the global Trade Marketing team. Manage translations of all German speaking e-Mails in time with global schedule Review and approve all e-Mails for European markets; brief local e-Mails respecting brand rules if needed Create content for dedicated sales manager communications Project manage all trade marketing tools (content, training and social media platforms): Review and keep track to make sure content is always up to date Create and maintain content on German speaking tools in time Propose and execute activities to drive tool engagement in line with the global strategy. Investigate data and compile reports Support the sales team in the creation of local webinars Liaise with the sales team and global marketing to create a performing webinar calendar Set-up webinars in the webinar-tool, brief and follow-up on e-Mail invitations and follow-up communications Drive webinar registrations through impactful call-to-actions in media Support the sales team with PowerPoint presentations Run webinar analysis and adjust plans if needed Organise and manage all trade / consumer shows and events, if and when needed. End-to-end project management: from registrations, booth designs, managing external vendor and briefing creatives to the global creative team Manage all event logistics with external suppliers Provide collaterals like invitations, vouchers, flyers On site event management including stand set up, staff management, liaising with customers, travel agent partners and suppliers Report on event and campaign performance, evaluate their effectiveness Provide general support for the Marketing and Sales team, as required, across print and digital. Update and adapt global marketing materials such as flyers, brochures and Trade E-Mails to language / local needs Coordinate the production of sales collaterals including brochures, flyers, roll-ups, displays, merchandising items, while controlling stock levels Proofread brochures, direct mails, emails, general collateral and adapt to language (own translations and / or manage translation agency) Coordinate overbrand programme for trade versioned direct mails Arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports Process all Europe stationary requests (business cards etc.)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
4-5 years of experience in a similar position
Experience of working in the travel or cruise sector, beneficial
Great communication skills both written and verbal
Very high standard of written German / native speakers preferred. French or Spanish is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign
High attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks accordingly
A self-starter who can work both independently, and as a positive team-player working towards a common goal
