SET THE COURSE

The IT Project Manager is responsible for managing technical projects for the Information Technology organization.  This individual will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices for managing IT-related initiatives.

BE THE ISLAND GUIDE

Work with internal and external stakeholders to create project plans, ensure delivery against plans, resolve risks and issues as they arise, and effectively communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholdersResponsible for successful project delivery within scope, schedule, quality, and budgetWorks closely with stakeholders to ensure proper project intakeManage multiple projects and project teams at the same timeRuns regular project status meetings; tracks and prioritizes tasks for teams; ensures all project health/status metrics and performance indicators are accurate and communicated effectivelyCommunicates project information and manages relationships with cross-functional departments, external agencies, and outside vendorsBuilds project team and manages resource needs based on project requirements; tracks project deadlines, time, tasks, completions, milestones, and allocation of internal and external resourcesIdentify and coordinate the procurement of equipment for technical projectsManage the end-to-end process for implementing technology at new stores, including voice, data, and all computer and network equipmentCoordinates transition of completed projects to operations, including development of a production support planPrepares reports and briefings on project status, progress, changes, communication plans, and related items related to scope, schedule, and budgetAnalyzes, tracks, and reports on project trends; escalates when needed to keep a project on trackOther duties as assigned to help support the overall business as necessary.

ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE

College degree in a related field preferred.4+ years of Project Management experience.4+ years of progressive IT experience.PMP certification is a plus.Experience managing projects using MS Project and other project management toolsDemonstrated ability to improve processes and maximize efficiencies to improve qualityExcellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectivesStrong customer-service orientation.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.Keen attention to detail.Highly self-motivated and directed.Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projectsAbility to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with othersResults-oriented, demonstrating a “can-do” attitude – adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual’s experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.

Rate Range: $101,136.75 to $168,561.25 salaried
