Role Description
Equities Operations spans multiple business units within the Corporate Investment Bank, including: Global Clearing, Equities Derivatives Group, Cash Equities, Prime Cash & Synthetic, and Stock Borrow Loan.
The Equities Operations Transformation team manages the implementation of projects from industry-driven change, regulatory rules, and business initiatives globally.
In this role, team members will interface daily with counterparts in Equities Business, Technology, and Operations.
Summary of Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of projects for Global Equities Operations Transformation, including scope definition, planning, execution, delivery and controls. Provide leadership, direction and focus for business functions and project resources Maintain a robust and auditable governance process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of overall project Proactively communicate global and local business requirements/priorities to key stakeholders; solicit feedback and obtain sign-off on project documentation. Regularly present project updates, risks, and issues to a diverse group of senior management Leverage the latest digital tools and technologies to support development of solutions in collaboration with our Innovation team Facilitate the implementation of new functionalities through training sessions, demos, and the development of training material.Skills and Qualifications
Project management experience or extensive experience in equities operations is required. Markets or other related financial services experience preferred; experience in operations and knowledge of industry regulations is a plus. Strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including strong emotional intelligence to partner effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and perform in a flexible work environment Fluency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and SharePoint. Deep skills with regards to creation of Business Requirement Documents, Functional Specifications, and Test Plans. Strong public speaking and experience presenting to senior stakeholders Ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives Experience with digital solutions tools such as Alteryx, UiPath or Tableau is a plus Experience working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse workgroups is a plus Ability to develop strong partnerships across lines of business to achieve goalsJob
