Project Manager II
**Description:** Create and maintain the project schedule. Identify and evaluate necessary resources. Communicate with team players and program manager. Report project status to program manager and upper management. Follow up on the project and task status. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required, with preference for Mechanical, Bio-Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 4-6 years of Project Management experience is required. Experience with product development process in medical device environment is preferred. Understanding of principles of product design and qualification within Medical Device industry. Strong analytical skills. Strong communication skills. CAPEX 4060 Design of new clean room for Plugs Manufacturing in Añasco plant SUMMARY: This position is responsible for planning, leading and executing company sites strategic and business continuity infrastructure and capital initiatives, including design, construction and validation projects management, future state planning / execution initiatives and supporting the introduction of new products and processes, assuring that all architectural, civil, electrical, fire protection and mechanical trades are adequately designed and implemented. This position manages part of Integra CI Inc. Capital Plan, assuring that assigned scheduled projects are completed on a timely basis and within assigned funds. This position maintains all company facilities, design and construction documents and assures that all changes are adequately documented. SUPERVISION RECEIVED Sr. Project Manager - Facilities & Infrastructure. SUPERVISION EXERCISED Contractors Engineers, Superintendent, Supervisors and crafts, as required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Design, plan and execute large, high profile, Integra strategic initiatives by developing plans including, but not limited to, new products, new facilities, new processes, revenue growth, geographic expansion, and improving current products, equipment and processes. • Ensure that company projects comply with local and Federal Safety and Environmental Regulations, such as OSHA, National & International Building Code, National Fire Protection Association, FDA, EPA, EQB, FM Global and other agencies with jurisdiction. • Manage Integra Añasco Facility Capital Budget with Finance Department by: o Monitoring capital and making sure that all funds are used as planned or adjusted as required. o Following up with the capital project leads to assure timely completion of projects. o Providing a monthly forecast of the capital cash out. o Keep track of orders placed at ORACLE against the assigned project. o Reconcile against Finance monthly forecast of the capital cash out. o Support the update of the Corporate Capital tracking file as requested. o Preparing/Issuing Facilities Infrastructure and Equipment Capital Requests, as needed • Develop and maintain all Integra Añasco facilities design and construction documents and assure that all changes are adequately documented. • Manage and execute diverse scope projects in the following areas: o Infrastructure, Equipment, Utilities Validation and Cost Improvement. o Facility design, construction and validation. o Future state planning initiatives o Introduction of new products, equipment and processes, assuring that all architectural, civil, electrical, fire protection and mechanical trades are adequately designed and implemented. • Develop accurate project plans using MS Project tools. Execute detailed, high level and two weeks look ahead schedules and monitor progress accordingly. DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position. • Education o Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Civil, Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical o Professional Engineer License is preferred o PMP certification a plus • Type and Number Years of Experience o At least four (4) years' experience with demonstrated success in leading capital projects with proven results and effective leadership and management skills o Demonstrated program management expertise and experience; project management certification preferred o Demonstrated success in leading through influence o Demonstrated ability to integrate information to build and implement solutions to project risks o Results-driven leadership and management skills o Excellent negotiating skills o Excellent risk management skills o Excellent communication and influencing skills up, down and across the organization o Strong business, analytical and planning skills o Creative thinking and proactive problem solving skills o Lean Six Sigma and Process Excellence training/knowledge a plus o Knowledge of FDA, OSHA, EPA, PRASA, PREPA, GPM's, FM Global and Federal and Local regulations. o Ability to work independently to establish priorities with a minimum amount of day-to-day direction.
