Project Manager I

About the role; This Project Manager I role provides support to the Project Management team and is directly responsible for the delivery of assigned simple projects within acceptable time frames and quality standards for multiple projects. The Project Manager will manage all phases of the project through the Product Development process. This position exists to project-manage cross-functional teams by working closely with all aspects of the product/solution development community: Market Vertical, Product Manager, Engineering, Testing, Legal, and more. This will require working with top Engineering resources utilizing our industry-leading technology.

Responsibilities: 

Representing Engineering Project Management in cross-functional teams and serve as an SME for their portfolio.Overseeing Project Managers handling moderate to complex projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Carrying out management responsibilities, including mentoring and guiding Project Managers.Fostering a culture of innovation by encouraging new ideas and continuous improvements.Empowering staff to take ownership of their actions and decisions, promoting accountability.Managing a mix of highly complex and moderate projects, depending on scope and complexity.Requesting and review resource and budget allocations for projects, programs, and portfolios.Communicating capacity and demand impacts to stakeholders and leadership.Identifying and recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures.Defining key performance metrics and creating variance reports to track progress.

Qualifications:

Possess extensive experience in IT PMO.Possess knowledge of process improvement methodologies.Have proven expertise in project management with a track record of on-time, within-budget project deliveries.Demonstrate  an In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Advanced skills in resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.Experience managing workflows in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.Ability to set, communicate, and achieve business objectives.Demonstrated success in managing multiple complex projects, adapting to shifting priorities, and driving change management initiatives.Excellent problem-solving skills, with experience leading teams to identify, research, and resolve project challenges efficiently.Have current Project governance certification (PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, etc.)
