This position will support the pathologist team with upfront client communication, protocol design, quoting, and project initiation tasks.

Responsibilities

Corporate

Follow all SOPs and other applicable laboratory or company policies and proceduresMaintain confidential information

General

Interact with clients, other employees, and the community in a professional mannerSupport and participate in company initiatives as directedMaintain thorough knowledge of facility SOPs, policies, study protocols, etc.Adhere to all safety regulations and proceduresProvide assistance or support to other Inotiv sites as necessaryPerform other duties as assigned

Specific

Support remote and on-site pathologistsAssist with upfront client communication, protocol design, quoting, and project initiation tasksRequest and organize applicable documents and data from the Sponsor/Study Director prior to the initiation of Pathology work Provide clear and accurate documentation of Pathology study activities according to SOP requirements, including assistance with protocol/study design amendments and change ordersDevelop and maintain a Pathology schedule to ensure appropriate planning and visibility of upcoming and ongoing Pathology projectsCoordinate and communicate project timelines, milestones and delays for Pathology operations to clients, study directors, and internal departmentsEnsure scheduled projects are tracked and timelines are maintained to meet or exceed client expectationsEnsure upstream and downstream teams have visibility and access to relevant Pathology documents to maintain consistent workflow and project progressionCoordinate internal, cross-site, and external transfer of Pathology study materialsCollaborate with the Investigative and Molecular Pathology Study Coordinator team on projects involving the Pathology groupOrganize and maintain study materials on multiple platforms (servers, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, ESM)Utilize project management tools and templates (SmartSheets, Salesforce)Assist with capture, annotation, and formatting of photomicrographs for Pathology reportsAssist with monthly revenue recognition for Pathology projects Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or higher (life sciences required)3 or more years of relevant experience preferred

Skills

Excellent organizational skills and detail orientedProfessional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work with personnel at all levels of the organizationMust be able to coordinate and collaborate with other functional departments and sitesAbility to multi-task and/or manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to create, manage, track, and update pathology deliverable schedulesReview study designs/protocols as it applies to scheduling histopathology workSelf-directed and creative thinkerProficient in the use of computer software applications as needed (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, Smartsheet, SharePoint)

*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience.  The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person’s relevant experience and/or education level. This is an exempt role paying $70,000-$85,000/year.
