Project Manager - Financial Services Credit Risk
Right to Hire Title or Role: Project Manager/Business Analyst - Financial Services Credit Risk Compensation: up to $93/hr commensurate with experience Location: Hybrid, 3 days onsite in Midtown, NYC Length of Contract: 12 month Right to Hire Position Description: The Business Analyst - Financial Services Credit Risk role involves creation and management of a project plan for components of the new data warehouse designed for risk and regulatory reporting. This position reports to the Data Management group at this Financial Services firm located in mid-town NYC. This role will be about 9-12 months in duration and offers the possibility of conversion to a permanent position in 2026. The project will be managed with a hybrid Agile methodology. Managing the team's progress, stakeholder interactions, the project plan, gathering and documenting business requirements are primary responsibilities. Along with the project management responsibilities, this role requires facilitating meetings with the business users, conflict resolution skills, and ability to work in a high-pressure environment. This role will assist with source to target mapping, define data, reporting and business requirements, and aid in performing testing of reports and analytics created by the project. Responsibilities: · Manage project team's schedule and project plan. · Lead daily sprint sessions, work with implementation team on sprint planning. · Partner with Information Technology, Business Users, and various vendors to gather user requirements, and document functional and non-functional business and data requirements. Present project status and updates to Leadership and Advisory Committees. · Assist with source to target mappings for simple to complex data integration tasks. · Test reports and analytics with business users and manage the UAT plan and activities. · Document meetings, requirements, issues, status, and resolutions as required Qualifications: + Strong Project Management and Business Analysis experience (5-10 years) + Strong Financial Services experience (6+ years) + Prior project experience with Financial and/or Credit Risk and/or Regulatory (2+ years) + Able to work in a high-pressure environment + Able to have difficult conversations with demanding stakeholders as needed + Comfortable handling conflict resolution + Ability to create source to target mapping flows (3+ years) + Understanding of data requirements and reporting/analytic tools (3+ years) + Experience creating source to target mapping for simple to complex integrations + Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts + Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure. + Familiarity with the following is a plus: + Qlik Sense or similar Reporting Tools + SAP Data Services + Visualization Tools Education & Certifications: + Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology) preferred.
