Project Management Office Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result.The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries division in Mexico. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tLeading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.•\tMonitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.•\tIdentifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.•\tDriving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.Our team dynamicsYou will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

\t5+ years of experience in project management of projects in the energy market in Mexico. Working with big projects and customers (PEMEX, CFE, etc.) is desirable.\tExperience using project management software is required.\tKnowledge of distributed control systems and electrification and on excitation systems is a plus.\tExperience with PMI PMP is a plus.\tFluent English level.\tBachelor’s Degree in Engineering completed.
