Overview The Project Manager supports project management and analytics reporting for the Distribution Engineering Special Projects within Distribution Engineering (DE). The Project Manager is responsible for reporting, scripting, and analytics, that enable data-driven decision making within the Special Projects Programs. This role closely collaborates with the other teams within the DE to help monitor, drive, and improve departmental metrics aimed at ensuring the highest level of process improvement, ensuring targets for key performance metrics are achieved, and ensuring organizational and external reporting needs are met. This position is based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Responsibilities Conventional project management activities, such as managing deliverables, scope, and schedule of assignment projects. Create detailed time schedules for assigned projects. Generate progress reports with updates on project status. Risk management and identifying, evaluating, and planning responses to potential projects risks. Assessing team and overall project performance. Documenting Lessons Learned in the project process. Generate analytics reports from SharePoint data. Monitor, measure, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), objectives and key results (OKRs), metrics and other data. Develop data analysis to interpolate/extrapolate projections or forecasts. Review data quality for inconsistencies or anomalies that could impair analytical results. Develop reports, presentations, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. Work closely with stakeholders within the department to understand their data analytics needs. Develop or support the implementation of systems and tools to streamline the data collection process and facilitate decision-making. Analyze existing processes to drive continuous improvement initiatives based on analysis and reporting of available data. Abide by Company policies and procedures. Other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field from an accredited college or university. 3-5 years of project management or related work experience, including project data experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Google Data Analyst Professional Certificate or IBM Data Analyst Professional Certifiate, or Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, or CompTIA Data Analystics Plus Certificate is prefererred. Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques. Lean Six Sigma training, certificate, or equivalent is preferred. Project management Professional (CAPM or PMP) certification is preferred. Fluency in Spanish is required. Fluency in English is a plus. Knowledge of data analytics tooks such as (MS Power BI and Tableau) is preferred. Knowledge of MS Sharepoint, MS Access, MS SQL Server is an asset. Must have a valid driver’s license. Should have the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization through email, phone, video conferencing, and in-person. Strong presentation skills and ability to facilitate meetings related to strategy, training, and collaboration with various stakeholders. Knowledgeable about OH&S safety regulations. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), MS Project Online, Primavera P6, and computer-based tools for earned value management, cost control, schedule control, resource management, risk management, and project management. Excellent, organizational, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Excellent problem solving and critical thinking, statistics, data vizualization, presentation skills. Ability to work with limited supervision, track and report on various deliverables, prioritize and organize own work. Should have excellent time management, organizational, planning skills, and attention to detail. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
