**Job Description**
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Management Coordinator for employment based out of AECOM’s Kitchener or London, ON offices. The appropriately qualified candidate for this position will work on drinking water and wastewater treatment projects and related infrastructure including planning and feasibility to design and construction.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Lead a high performing team in the delivery of complex multidisciplinary water and wastewater projects.
+ Work successfully within a team environment and communicate effectively with other project team members and clients.
+ Work closely with process engineers and other discipline engineers, technicians, and administrative staff in the delivery of comprehensive designs.
+ Complete technical reports, calculations, and undertake design decisions.
+ Prepare technical specifications, tender documents, and review design drawings.
+ Conduct technical quality reviews of deliverables.
+ Coordinate design efforts, manage project schedules, track budgets and key financial performance metrics.
+ Lead permitting applications for provincial and local regulatory agencies.
+ Conduct periodic site visits and manage in construction administration activities.
+ Manage commissioning activities related to water and wastewater treatment process start-up.
+ Provide guidance to junior technical staff.
+ Ability to work independently.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills as well as effective report writing.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements :**
+ Bachelor's degree +6 years of relevant experience or Diploma + 8 years of overseeing and co-ordinating all aspects of small to mid-size engineering projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
**Preferred Qualifications :**
+ Registered as a P.Eng. in the province of ON.
+ Previous experience in the design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
+ Previous experience with Class Environmental Assessments for water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects.
+ Good working knowledge of industry standard and local municipal standards and guidelines are considered an asset.
+ Proficient in common desktop packages, i.e. Word, Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint.
+ Previous client facing project experience is considered an asset.
