**Overview**
Discovery is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our small but mighty team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing operations across multiple clients and projects, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and seamless execution. This role requires expertise in budget estimate development and financial tracking, timeline creation and management, and overall operational support to keep our team aligned and focused.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and is skilled at problem-solving and maintaining clear communication across cross-functional teams. They will play a key role in driving projects forward, optimizing processes, and ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
**Responsibilities**
_Client Focus_
+ Foster strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, serving as a thoughtful and proactive point of contact
+ Be a trusted partner in client meetings, leading all internal and some external status updates and making sure every detail is documented and followed through
+ Make sure every client-facing deliverable is reviewed and polished by the right internal teams before it ever leaves the agency
+ Own attendee management for both onsite and virtual meetings—from invitations and confirmations to evaluations and thank-you notes
+ Keep projects financially sound by developing and managing client budgets, understanding how project work connects to budget impact, and following agency financial processes
+ Track, organize, and analyze financial documents like budgets, invoices, and trackers keeping both the internal and client view clear and up-to-date
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build accurate project estimates and scopes that set teams up for success
+ Maintain consistent, organized project documentation that keeps internal teams and our clients on the same page
_Internal Focus_
+ Develop and manage detailed timelines, budgets, and project plans that lead teams confidently through every stage of our project lifecycles
+ Spot risks before they become problems, offering solutions to keep projects on track
+ Collaborate closely with senior project managers, account, and other cross-functional partners to define project scopes and shape deliverables
+ Develop internal materials such as project briefs, timelines, and action plans that set teams up for smooth execution
+ Make sure projects move through the agency the right way by leveraging the right people, processes, and tools at every step
+ Contribute to process enhancements, knowledge management, and new tools that make projects smarter, faster, and easier
+ Keep financial documentation organized and accurate, from estimates to revisions
+ Continuously learn and improve your knowledge of agency systems and project management tools, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
**Qualifications**
+ 2+ years of applicable experience as a Project Manager, preferably in an agency setting
+ Bachelor’s degree required
+ Working knowledge of basic finance and project budgeting
+ Solid understanding of project management methodologies, including risk management, issue resolution, and development of work plans and specifications
+ Interest or experience in advocacy, healthcare communications, or non-profit sectors preferred

Compensation Range: $64,500 - $82,740 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
