Job Summary
Restaurant Associates, with its heritage steeped in culinary quality and innovative dining has an exciting new opportunity! The Restaurant Services Project Manager role supports the organization by driving new business opportunities in the Restaurant Services division.
As a Strategic Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving key initiatives forward, leveraging your expertise to align projects with organizational objectives. Leading cross-functional teams, you'll navigate complexities, ensuring seamless execution and delivering outcomes that fuel business growth and foster innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Works with and motivates the team to achieve the project time lines and objectives
+ Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
+ Develops full-scale project plans and associated project documents including resource needs
+ Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations; liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
+ Defines project success criteria and disseminates them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
+ Communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion and manages those expectations on an on-going basis
+ Builds, develops, and grows any business relationships vital to the success of the project
+ Manages the project budget
+ Determines and assesses the need for additional staff and make recommendations as appropriate during project cycle
+ Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the project team
+ Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path
+ Proactively manages changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devises contingency plans
+ Conducts the project post mortem and creates a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
+ Assists in developing best practices and tools for project execution and management
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
+ Three years of experience managing enterprise projects
+ Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs and Microsoft Project
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with a positive, can-do attitude
+ Ability to work well under pressure as a key member of a fast paced team
+ Superb oral and written communication skills
+ Travel as needed (less than 10%)
