Project Manager for LA DEQ Job Description: The scope of the proposed services will include the following: ● Develop plans, tasks, schedules, and milestones to track and manage process and cost; ● Define program goals and objectives and align them with the organization's strategy; ● Develop project plans and schedules, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets; ● Lead cross-functional teams to deliver programs and projects on time and within budget; ● Manage risks and issues and implement mitigation strategies as needed; ● Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including senior management; ● Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to ensure program and project goals are met; ● Ensure compliance with program management processes and standards; ● Provide on-going evaluation and improvements for program management processes and practices; ● Provide day-to-day support for ongoing processes; ● Provide on-going evaluation and improvements for processes; work in needed areas to provide application support for agency’s workload demands; ● Make recommendations and act when necessary to address problems or adjust to change Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory: ● 5 years’ experience in project management ● 5 years’ team lead experience with developers and business analysts ● 5 years’ experience with project management tools and methodologies, which include Scrum, Waterfall, Azure DevOps, etc. ● Bachelor’s Degree – Any Field Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory: ● Scrum Master Certification ● Master’s Degree – Any Field
