Your OpportunityThe role of a Project Manager and Structural Engineer is to deliver a broad spectrum of marine infrastructure projects and help build our Ports business. As an engineering project manager, you will balance both technical and project management responsibilities. This will involve interfacing directly with clients, stakeholders, contractors and suppliers to effectively manage project deliverables, with a focus on quality and team collaboration. In terms of execution of the work, you will be responsible for coordinating drawing production, report preparation, and design management.
The opportunity is to lead the successful delivery of projects at all phases (planning, design, tendering, construction, maintenance) through conformance to Stantec’s Project Management Framework. A Project Manager has the interpersonal skills to lead by fostering a positive team environment and support a culture of safety. You will apply your professional consulting abilities to lead design tasks, prepare proposal documents, and take responsible charge of work products.
The scope of your role will require a variety of office and field tasks, which may include: planning, preliminary design, detailed design, tender/construction support, project controls, proposal writing, and quality management. You will have the opportunity to develop innovative and sustainable design solutions working alongside an award winning design team in order to deliver exciting projects. An ability to maintain the big picture throughout the design process and take responsibility for meeting client expectations in a dynamic environment will help build a long-lasting career at Stantec
Position will primarily work in an office/hybrid setting; may require some field work.

Additional Information Salary Range(s): Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s): Location Description: Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in BC (Lower Mainland includes Vancouver & Burnaby) Min Pay Range: Lower Mainland $108,400 Max Pay Range: Lower Mainland $162,700 Note: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
