In this role, you will oversee all aspects of project execution, from planning and coordination to resolving technical issues and providing operational guidance. You’ll play a critical role in managing complex projects, liaising with cross-functional teams, and ensuring mission success in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities:** + Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure to ensure alignment with program objectives. + Act as a project leader at the individual order level, providing direction and leadership to cross-functional project teams. + Coordinate project activities across technical, operational, and administrative functions, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. + Resolve technical and operational issues in collaboration with stakeholders, including quality assurance, engineering, manufacturing, and program management. + Provide operational guidance for current and proposed projects, maintaining close liaison with key stakeholders and customers. + Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success. + Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations tailored to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and government stakeholders. + Provide strategic advice and subject matter expertise to project teams, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence. + Consult with clients to define project requirements, assess risks, and recommend data-driven solutions to complex challenges. **Qualifications:** _Required:_ + Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one. + 3–10 years of relevant project management experience with a MA/MS degree; additional years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement. + Proven ability to initiate, supervise, and manage projects from inception through completion, including complex and mission-critical programs. + Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct evaluations, develop recommendations, and implement process improvements. + Demonstrated experience providing strategic advice, technical guidance, and subject matter expertise to program and project teams. + Experience consulting with clients to define project requirements, conduct data analysis, and recommend solutions. + Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports, briefings, and presentations for diverse audiences. + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environments. _Desired:_ + Experience supporting high-visibility projects with complex deliverables and stakeholder requirements. + Ability to apply advanced project management principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative strategies. + Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a focus on continuous improvement. + Knowledge of the sponsor’s organization, mission, and key partners. + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management credentials (preferred but not required).
