Project Manager
**Job Overview:** We have an immediate need for a Project Manager. LFG Specialties, an APTIM company, is a leading supplier of gas processing equipment and combustion systems for the solid waste and petroleum industries. If you are interested in working for a leader in the industry that provides a comprehensive benefits package, please see below for applicant criteria: **Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:** + Successful candidate must have strong project management skills and will perform a wide variety of engineering tasks including review of client specifications, proposal writing, estimating, development of drawings, O&M manuals, and management of projects from concept through completion, including field start-up support. + Simultaneously manage multiple projects. + Establishes and monitors project safety and quality programs. + Plans, organizes, coordinates, and controls projects in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements. + Supervises project personnel on project team. + Supports business development activities and may serve as a proposal manager. + Represents the company to client and maintains client relationship + Provides technical guidance to project team + Has accountability for managing financial resources + Has in-depth expertise in own discipline and knowledge of the related disciplines + Applies technical and/or managerial expertise to improve effectiveness and provide guidance to employees in own area + Anticipates and interprets customer needs to identify solutions + Interprets business issues and adapts work priorities in own area + Manages budget for own area and allocates resources accordingly **Basic Qualifications:** + BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5 or more years of experience is preferred. + Experience with gas compression, treatment and combustion equipment related to natural gas. + Candidate must have a firm grasp of engineering principles and understand basic business principles including cost estimating and pricing. + Good inter-personal skills are required to interface with clients and internal personnel at all levels. **Desired/Preferred Qualifications:** + Previous experience with an original equipment manufacturer is preferred. + 5+ years of project management experience + 5+ years of experience in design and fabrication of gas handling equipment. **Who we are and what we do:** **ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION** **ABOUT APTIM** APTIM is committed to accelerating the transition toward a clean and efficient energy economy, building a sustainable future for our communities and natural world, and creating a more inclusive and equitable environment that celebrates the diversity of our communities.
