Our client in the Henrico, VA area is looking to hire a Project Manager for their location. The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate different related projects to ensure they benefit one another and meet business goals. Duties include developing systems, programs, and risk assessments of current and new processes to ensure safety compliance and policy adherence. Responsible for organizing various programs and activities to improve company efficiencies, building long-term goals for company projects, and developing program and project budgets as designated by senior management.

The Day-to-Day:

Communicate proposed plans, identified goals, and objectives with sr. management as well as provide regular progress reports on all projects that promote the company’s vision.Analyze the scope of projects and format expense reports by outlining projects to the company for senior management’s approval.Perform quality controls on all projects throughout development from start to finish to achieve identified goals and uphold regulatory business standards.Engage management and personnel to achieve the facility’s product safety and quality management system requirements fostering a product safety culture within the facility.Ensure compliance with BRC Global Standard and local regulatory requirements.Create long – and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines by organizing daily activities based on the goals of the company.Coordinate meetings and communicate project objectives.Delegate responsibilities on projects to employees best positioned to complete assigned tasks by evaluating and assessing the team’s performance.Make operational decisions in conjunction with senior management when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the projects.Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same projects to promote teams’ cooperation and success.Work with other departments to develop budgets and plans for the programs as well as oversee and monitor projects to ensure goals are met.These duties are not an exhaustive list and may warrant additional tasks as designated and assigned by the senior management.

Qualifications:

High School DiplomaRecent Bachelors in Business or Project ManagementStrong verbal and written skills for stakeholder and team interactions.Flexibility to adjust to changing project needs.Excellent attention to detail

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$45 to $60k /per yrMonday to Thursday8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
