Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for the facilitation of process improvement initiatives, project implementation, and project management including but not limited to operational improvements, program development, Service and Quality improvement projects, and equipment and facility management. Promotes teamwork between participants in projects. Maintains projects schedule including timelines. Working with hospital administration, facilitates the project planning process (may include planning work group facilitation) to achieve optimized project plan. Conducts reviews of assigned projects to ensure budget, scope, schedule, and quality expectations are achievable and executed efficiently.
Essential Job Responsibilities
· Assemble project plans, team, and work assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts, identifying resource needs, performing quality review, and escalating functional, quality and timeline issues appropriately.
· Make necessary adjustments to schedules and tasks to accommodate operational needs.
· Monitor and manage the entire project life cycle and takes necessary steps to ensure that Hospital standards, and applicable accreditation standards are met.
· Prepare reports and develop presentations for leadership
· Conducts regular project update meetings with key stakeholders involved to ensure project timeline will be met.
· Delegating tasks on projects to employees.
· Maintains an up-to-date master project/schedule.
· Serve a critical role as liaison and facilitate meetings between project stakeholders and leadership; complete and maintain documentation for projects and deliverables.
· Collect, organize, and interpret data for organization and leadership
· Participate in long-range planning for program/project implementation. Anticipate challenges and barriers to successful project outcomes.
· Communicate with a variety of vendors, contractors, and hospital staff, in meetings, through written communication, presentations and conversation.
· Provide consultation and advice across the MFB Network as required to support understanding of research and the contributions of outcomes research, population-based data, and research methodologies.
· Identify and implement effective and efficient processes to streamline current procedures.
· Serves as a point of contact to assure team actions remain in synergy.
· Communicates with executive leadership to keep projects aligned with organizational goals.

Essential Job Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or relevant work experience
· Strong customer service-related skills
· 3-5 years of experience in a relative field is preferred
· Ability to multi-task and handle conflicting deadlines
· Ability to collaborate with staff across all levels of the organization
· Strong analytical and technical skills
· Strong oral and written communication skills
