Project Manager
Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Project Manager to work in our Infrastructure Security Department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off. You will report to the Senior Program Manager, or Portfolio Manager to provide updates, solve challenges, and manage human, fiscal, and facility resources. . Project Manager provides managerial leadership on the project(s) and is responsible for all aspects of a project including scope, schedule, cost, milestones, and resources. *Responsibilities Include:* • Plan, document, manage projects. • Integrate and communicate with customers, partners, and managers of related projects. • Determine appropriate products or services with clients or customers to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables. • Use project management techniques to assure technical, schedule, and budget baselines are controlled throughout each phase of a project. • Lead Participate in phase, milestone, and final project reviews with technical staff. • Manage all projects observing all BEA procedures. • Monitor project activities and resources to mitigate risk. • Collaborate with procurement, and interface with the customers. • Make improvements, or take corrective action when problems arise. • Identify project documentation requirements or procedures. • Manage projects to ensure that they are completed, within budget, and that all work is performed in a safe manner. • Review inter-organizational agreements and subcontract packages for completeness and conformity to project requirements. • Perform project closeout activities including final cost report and project records closeout. • Develop teams to successfully complete projects. *Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in business management, project management, or related field from an accredited institution and 5 years of experience; Masters and 2 years of experience; or a Ph. D and 2 years of experience. Relevant experience functioning as a project lead, project manager, or lead role determined by level. You will have experience working with the nonproliferation community (customers, national laboratories, academia, non-governmental organizations) and implementing projects in the nonproliferation space. You will be asked to maintain a Department of Energy Q and TS/SCI level security clearance. *Desired Knowledge:* Relevant experience including project management/coordination (particularly on US Government funded projects) in power systems planning or engineering, cyber security and development of technical proposals and project reports and familiarity with information systems. Experience with the federal government or military, Energy Sector (eg Original Equipment Manufacturers, Asset Owners-Operators), or Defense Industrial Base. · *Job Information: * * The pay range for this position is: Level # ($91,008 - $186,588) / Level # ($109,260 - $223,908).
