Job Description

Your tasks as Project Manager:

The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of projects over the entire life of the project as shown by the following Project Phases:  Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, and Costing Manages and leads cross-functional team on large-scale projects from concept to successful completion Manages and facilitate teams in a crisis mode / escalation Coordinate functional activities and ensure matrix resource efficiencies to achieve program objectives (Matrix functions include Sales, Product Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Materials and Finance) Serve as primary contact/liaison to customer; Identify information/data and resources needed by customer and ensure timely transfer of such information between appropriate ZF department/team and the customer Manage the project budget; follow-up on Microsoft project timeline targets surrounding quality, timing, cost, and resources to ensure project timing and budget is achieved Manage and oversee all program management activities to support internal and external customers Provide effective communication on all aspects of the program to internal stakeholders, up to and including, ZF senior management Lead the change management process with respect to cost analysis and engineering change implications (i.e. quotations, validations, timing, communications to affected departments/groups, etc.) and coordinate engineering change requests with the effected business support processes Conduct program meetings and management gate reviews Maintain comprehensive program reports including schedule and metrics status, open issues and actions, project risk assessment and change management summary

Your Profile / Qualifications:

Education: Master’s Degree in Engineering, Technology or Business Management Organizational and project management abilities Strong problem solving and analytical abilities Demonstrated organizational skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to influence in a matrix management environment Very good leadership skills Minimum of 3 years of automotive, business-related experience with progressive responsibility in an Engineering or Operations environment with a minimum of 1 year of Program Management experience Language: English proficiency required Proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project Preferred PMP-certification
