We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and driven professional to join our team as an Project Manager within our IT PMO (IT Project Management Office). This essential role will be responsible for the direction, coordination, execution, communication, and completion of specific projects across diverse business units and technology domains, supporting enterprise transformation and goals. These projects include implementation of new technologies and upgrades/enhancements to existing systems and applications. Our project management practice guides components of process, technology and organizational improvement, working closely in concert with business and IT stakeholders. Responsibilities How you will make an impact: Manage project execution for the Corporate Information Technology department. Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables to create succinct Project Charters. Define project objectives and scope, identifying involvement of internal and external stakeholders. Develop full scale project plans, including project tasks and resource requirements. Plan, schedule, and manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables using Xanterra’s standard project template set. Manage project changes to mitigate scope creep and achieve on-time, on-budget project objectives. Assemble and coordinate project stakeholders and manage expectations to maintain productive and engaged relationships. Monitor and report on progress of projects to all stakeholders, at varying levels of responsibility, including summarization of tasks, milestones, risks and decisions. Collaborate with Quality Assurance in application testing activities to ensure achievement of project requirements. Strive to continually improve standard project processes and templates by collaborating with fellow PMO team members and providing constructive feedback and suggestions. Provide support and assistance to the Xanterra Incident Response Team as needed and requested. Engage in continual learning to remain abreast of industry best practices, new technologies, and emerging standards. Qualifications Required: College degree or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project Management and Technology. Working knowledge of standard project management methodology, tools and software. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 suite of products, particularly Teams, OneDrive and PowerPoint. Expertise in waterfall and hybrid (waterfall plus some agile) software development methodologies. Experience managing full-scale software implementation projects. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, planning, organizing, decision-making, team building, conflict management and adaptability. Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize and present information clearly. Ability to interact with team members at all levels of the organization and with cross functional teams. What will make you stand out: Hospitality, lodging, cruise or travel experience is strongly recommended. Project Management certification (CAPM, PMP, etc.). Working knowledge of Smartsheet. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where project priorities, task deadlines, and assignments can change quickly. Ability to approach others in a tactful manner, react well under pressure, and treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. Ability to accept responsibility for your own actions and follow through on your commitments. Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, look for ways to improve and promote quality, apply feedback to improve performance. COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $100,000.00.
