Project Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of small projects with low complexity. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining and applying basic project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks proactively.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tProject Manager with the support of project team is responsible for successful execution/delivery of assigned project(s) on-time, within budget, as per Contract Agreement; with on-quality & safety framework of ABB starting from handover from sales until project close out.•\tFull responsibility for analyzer integration system projects, mainly focus on maximizing financial result, staying on contractual schedule and high customer satisfaction in oil refinery, Petro-chemical industries.•\tProject Manager will have the overall responsibility for leading the implementation of customer projects in good co-operation with internal and external stakeholders.•\tThe responsibilities also include project planning, scheduling, and resourcing, cost control and forecasting, risk management and reporting to the steering committee.•\tProject Manager will report to the operations manager.

Qualifications for the role

\tWillingness to commit to achieve company goals and long-perspective personal development attitude within ABB are the first prerequisites.\tGood, analytical decision making and problem solving skills are mandatory requirements, as well as ability to quickly adapt to changing situations and work under pressure.\tProject management capability and understanding of wider perspective to see ones’ own contribution from the viewpoint of the whole is needed on successful performance. Professional personnel management, coaching and excellent team leading abilities are prerequisites to meet goals set to the role.\tTechnical educational background, Bachelor’s Degree or above in engineering with subject of mechanical, electrical or other relevant industrial engineering.\tThe successful candidate has at least 5 years of work experience from project business; international work experience and background in EPC or Multi-national based company are highly valued. \tGood verbal and written English is a must.\tProfessional level ability with MS Office tools. Experience from MS Project, SAP or other ERP system is minimum requirement.
