Description We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Charlotte, NC . This is a long-term contract position that requires a proactive individual skilled in Agile methodologies, backlog management, and IT project execution. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables align with business objectives and compliance requirements. Responsibilities: • Facilitate communication between IT execution teams and stakeholders to ensure business needs are clearly understood and met. • Manage and refine project backlogs in collaboration with Agile Product Owners, ensuring alignment with solution design intent. • Develop and clarify user stories to support IT execution teams in meeting acceptance criteria and delivering quality outcomes. • Analyze technical solutions and identify potential misalignments with design intentions, working collaboratively with IT teams. • Oversee program execution to ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions regulations. • Utilize tools like Atlassian Jira to track and manage project progress effectively. • Create detailed user stories and ensure they are prioritized to meet project requirements. • Support Agile Scrum practices to enhance team collaboration and project delivery. • Provide insights and recommendations for improving business processes and execution strategies Requirements • Proven experience in Agile project management, including backlog refinement and user story creation. • Familiarity with tools such as Atlassian Jira for project tracking and management. • Strong understanding of AML and Sanctions Compliance regulations. • Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies and practices. • Ability to analyze technical solutions and collaborate with IT teams to resolve discrepancies. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in project execution and management. • Technical aptitude to interpret and contribute to solution designs.
