*D.R. Horton, Inc.*is currently looking for a*_Project Manager_*. The right candidate is responsible for the planning and execution of the project, monitoring and reporting progress, and supervising all field personnel assigned to a multi-unit project. Ensure quality control on site throughout the entire construction process. Implement all company policies and procedures to achieve the objectives of the project.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Responsible for a project’s organization, timeline and delivering project on time within budget
* Plan and direct the construction activities of field personnel and other staff as assigned to the project
* Manage the set-up of temporary project facilities and utilities
* Manage all project specific correspondence and documentation; including submittals, change requests, and daily field reports
* Manage project budget, review field purchase orders, and provide reporting
* Ensure that all work that is invoiced is fully acceptable to company specifications and is 100% complete
* Ensure that all homes in the construction area meet all safety standards in accordance with OSHA and state regulations and are constructed to contract, specification, and detail
* Manage project turn-over to Customer Service, including the completion of punch-list items, and ensure that all walk-through forms are signed and completed for homeowner orientations and occupancy
* Maintain total involvement with the training, communication, and development of Superintendents and field personnel
* Work closely with the sales, customer service, and management teams to ensure open communication on all matters; develop a strong environment conducive to proactive resolution of issues and strong commitment to producing a quality product
* Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors and City inspectors & officials
* Handle escalated issues with subcontractors
* Walk site to determine construction status and ensure quality control
* Respond to unsatisfactory survey cards and NRS responses
* Manage project close-out and final documentation
* Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

*Education and/or Experience*
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* Five years of related experience and/or training
* Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
* Project planning, time management and leadership skills
* High degree of construction knowledge and management skills
* Ability to read, understand and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules
* General knowledge of municipal permitting, regulations and building codes
* Ability to converse with customers, all levels of management and personnel
* Superb interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction
* Ability to control cost overruns and manage a budget
* Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
* Ability to utilize DRH Construction applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
* Proficiency with MS Office and email
* Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; climb, balance and stoop, crouch or crawl; walk up and down stairs; climb ladders and scaffolding; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision
* Regular exposure to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high precarious places and risk of electrical shock
