The proposed role is critical for achieving key project outcomes that align with the overall strategic objectives. The below detailed breakdown shows how the UK PM will contribute to the success of the project: **Role Responsibilities** 1. **Timely Project Delivery** : 2. The UK PM will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all projects are delivered within the established timelines. By overseeing the entire project lifecycle—ranging from planning and execution to monitoring—the PM will ensure that all milestones are met in a timely manner. 3. The proactive approach to monitoring progress will help identify potential delays early, allowing for corrective actions to be taken. 4. Delays in delivering milestones by the agreed date with the Home Office will result in financial penalties to PSI in the form of delay payments. The UK PM will ensure that PSI doesn't have to pay delay payments. 5. **Dedicated UK Support** : 6. This role will ensure that there is always a point of contact available during UK business hours for both clients and internal teams. This immediate availability will facilitate quick decision-making, clear communication, and effective problem resolution. 7. The LitUK implementation will require the PM to be on-site with the Home Office for workshops throughout the implementation period 8. LitUK will benefit from a reliable support system that understands their needs and expectations, which is crucial for maintaining strong client relationships. 9. **Risk Management** : 10. The UK PM will take the lead in identifying risks early in the process, developing mitigation strategies to prevent any potential disruptions, and adapting plans to address unforeseen challenges. 11. This approach will reduce the likelihood of costly delays or quality issues, ensuring the projects are delivered without major setbacks. 12. **Enhanced Stakeholder Management** : 13. With an emphasis on clear communication and collaboration, the UK PM will be responsible for fostering stronger relationships with both PSI and LitUK stakeholders. 14. By keeping stakeholders consistently informed and engaged, the PM will ensure that all parties are aligned with the project’s objectives and progress, leading to smoother project execution and increased satisfaction. 15. **Increased Cost-Effectiveness** : 16. The UK PM will focus on optimizing resources across the entire project portfolio, reducing inefficiencies, and ensuring cost-effective practices are implemented throughout the project lifecycle. 17. By closely monitoring project expenditures and identifying areas for improvement, the UK PM will help enhance the overall cost management of the projects, contributing to greater profitability.This dedicated role will be instrumental in ensuring a successful implementation onto the new LitUK contract but also continues to deliver projects with the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction. **Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements** + 3-5 years of proven experience as a project manager is required. + Proficiency in using web-based project management platforms like MS Project or Jira is required. + Familiarity with Content Management systems and HTML/CSS is preferred. + Extensive stakeholder management experience required. + Prince2 / PMP / Agile experience required. + Experience with onboarding, migrating, or implementing SaaS Platforms. + Experience in the testing industry and with assessment delivery platforms is a plus. + Experience of working with distributed teams. **Benefits & Culture** At PSI, our culture is to be transparent and fair.
