Contractor employee will perform tasks on an as-needed basis, such as:
§ Create detailed project schedules and work breakdown structures, updated on a daily or weekly basis depending on the needs of the project
§ Obtain and distribute weekly updates from all project teams, and weekly status reports of progress against schedule
§ Support meetings of implementation teams, advisory teams, and various project sub-teams including scheduling, agenda setting, meeting minutes and action items, and inclusion of action items in the project implementation plan
§ Create narrative reports of project progress, concerns, and recommended courses of action;
§ Contribute to executive dashboard reports showing progress against schedule and progress against budget
§ Provide training in project management and support skills as needed
§ Develop, execute, and contribute to project communication plans
§ Facilitate problem solving sessions, teambuilding sessions, and other organizational sessions as needed for effective project implementation
Contractor Employee Qualifications:
§ Contractor employee must have lead on at least three (3) previous ERP-related implementations in higher education, preferably with Ellucian Banner
§ Contractor employee must have a minimum of 10 years of project management experience
§ Contractor employee must be a certified project manager (PMP)
§ Demonstrated experience creating detailed dependency-driven IT implementation schedules
§ Demonstrated experience facilitating and supporting formal review sessions with executive stakeholders
§ Ability to provide leadership and organizational change coaching sessions with project team leaders and others when needed.
