Project Management / Procurement Internship

What You Can Expect

As our Project Management / Procurement Intern at The Ohio State University you will be responsible for assisting an ENGIE project manager with purchasing, document management, and invoicing for the Combined Heat and Powerplant project.  Every day you will assist with administering service contracts and purchase agreements in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will be reporting to Project Management I, Kaiya Weston. This internship work term will be approximately from September 2024-December 31, 2024.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

You are a Junior or Senior pursuing your Bachelor’s Degree at The Ohio State University You have a minimum of 1 year completed course work within business, sustainability, finance or related program You will assist the local project manager with materials procurement and subcontracting agreements related to the CHP project. You will work cohesively with internal and external stakeholders and work closely on projects directly related to the university You can meet highest attendance requirements You can communicate effectively, both written and verbally You can handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy You are proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel You possess organizational, prioritization and time management skills You demonstrate the ability to take initiative Your areas of possible work assignment include project management, compiling financial data, timekeeping records, development of local procurement processes, and maintaining the procurement status report Additional terms may be available if interest by candidate and deemed appropriate by supervisor

 

 

Additional Details

10 - 20 hours per week This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/will drive company vehicle Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies While performing the duties of this job, the employee is not exposed to weather Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester For this position, you must have evidence of right to work in the U.S. There is no employer sponsorship of U.S. residency or work authorization with this role

 

 

Compensation

Hourly Range:   $22.00 to $23.50 USD hourly

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

 

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
